Click into your News Ticker tab from the dashboard and hover over the ticket you’d like to change and press the Edit button. It’s likely your site will only have one ticker enabled.
The ticker settings will now load, we can scroll down and see the individual ticks. Across the top, we can use the button on the left to re-order the ticks by dragging and dropping and the buttons on the right to delete the current tick and add a new tick respectively.
For each ticker, we can specify the ticker text, a link to be taken to when you click on it and the target of that link. Either the same window or a new tab.
Let’s add a new tick, press the plus button on the right to create a new tick and specify some ticker text. Optionally, we can specify a Link URL. I want this to be the second tick, so let’s drag it up into the second position.
When you are happy with your changes, click the Update button on the right-hand side to save your changes. We can now refresh the page to see our updated ticker.
